I have the same mobo, and it worked great when I installed and not had a single random reboot or blue screen. The installation with the new processor and ram went smoothly. So, maybe it was just a faulty mobo? There will always be those, and you might have just been the unlucky ones to get one. I somewhat agree, but not really.
