Since v1.8 it has the ability to merge all the Assemblies into one single Assembly file. It’s possible by using the new aspnet_merge.exe provided by the Visual Studio 2005 Web Deployment Projects which you need to install if you want to use the new feature.
For more details check out the included Readme.txt. Get it here: ASP.NET Deployment Tool
I have no clue what’s wrong with gotdotnet again but I’m unable to login there at the moment, so the project page will be updated later on.

Great! I was waiting for that feature, thanks Andy!
Nice and thanks again!
Good work Andreas, update ran through fine, thanks!
It’s tiny and smooth, I like that, thanks!
You mentioned something about app_offline.htm sometime earlier, will there be any kind of implementation of that file regarding to FTP/Network Deployment?
Thanks for the update btw.!
Actually yes, I thought about that. Although it would only make sense if it’s being used together with a FTP Upload, Network Deployments are usually a matter of 1-10 seconds. It’s on my ToDo List, more on that soon, thanks for the input!
