Ok, it’s actually mentioned in the licence agreement terms but I’m sure many of you don’t read them ;). That’s how to completly remove it and go back to IE6:
- Go to the Control Panel
- Click on Add/Remove Programs
- Click on Show Updates (Small Box in the upper Region)
- Scroll down and look for IE7
- Hit uninstall
That’s it, everything back to normal now.

When I ran a program called CCleaner, all uninstallation information for Explorer 7 seems to be gone. I can’t even upgrade to Beta 3, because I can’t uninstall Beta 2. Is there any other way to uninstall it?
Try to run the IE setup program again (Beta2) and repair the Installation (or reinstall). After that, deinstall Internet Explorer 7 as described above.
